Digging Boulders with the 2305

I was unsure if the new 2305 was going to pull it off, but she did it. This boulder was entirely underground except for 2 inches or so. I dug it out and picked it right up.....it is forsure a full load! What about those front tires? They are at the correct pressure!?

Anyhow I love this tractor...12 hours and counting

You'll wreck those tires running them that low with a huge load in the bucket.
I run mine at 20 PSI and they don't look like that with an even heavier load in it. Get the compressor out!

I agree with Deadman, if you're going to lift loads like that make sure the tires are up to pressure. However, even at pressure, a stone like that may still flatten down your front tires. You may well need more rear ballast for such loads. That will take the weight off the front and keep you from ruining the tires, and beating your steering and front axel up.

I found my front tires pretty low, today, and had to pump them up to max, even with the 46 BH on as ballast.

BTW: Nice Stone... it is satisfying to see what a good CUT can do. I've move some that were larger but had the 46 on the back and still couldn't pick them up. Instead, I had to drag them, just able to curl them enough to allow me to drag. Good luck with the new machine!

Very impressive.

What is the lift capacity of your tractor?

Just for information I have 28/30 pounds pressure in the front tires on my Kubota B710. [ no power steering ]

And just a note of caution. As you are probably already aware if you raise the load high enough and have the bucket curled back some items may fall off onto the tractor.

Did you read my post? The tires are up to pressure plus 2 pounds or so. I think it is a ballast issue. The pulverizer is 450 pounds or so....I guess I need more.

More ballast should help. You can also try filling the tires, it will prevent compression (a change in volume of the contents of the tire) but you may still get deformation. Finally, the AG tires may have stiffer sidewalls. Of course,if this was a one-shot deal that's a lot of expense to retroactively make sure you don't get a flat
