Different 2615's??

I was at the local MF dealership over the weekend and looking at the 2605s and 2615s. They had 2 2615'sin 4WD and I noticed that the front axles were different on both of them? The dealership was closed so I wasn't able to ask.... was wondering if maybe they were different years of manufacture. Got the approval from the wife to trade in the old 135 on a newer tractor so went looking at local MF and JD dealerships. Preference would be a really good used 451 or 533 but am not opposed to getting a 2615 as the older tractors dont seem to lose much value and are just as much as a new one. Thanks

found out it evidently has to do the the 8x2 transmission versus the shuttle shift transmission that the front axles are different.

hmm. didn't know that. Must pull power from a different spot in the trans.

The 451 was a nice tractor. Little cramped operator station for me, but a nice tractor.
