Differences between Skid Steer & Track Loader

I'm looking to purchase one or the other. The main job function would be to run a stump gringer and possible grapple. The unit must have HF hydraulics up 30 gal min. I am looking to get an used one under 7000lbs that I can pull with my dodge 2500 I think that puts me in the range of 50-60 hp. What are the things I need to look out for buying used. I want to keep the machine under a 1000 hrs if possible. What are the advantages over each other? I know this is very vague but I have gotten so confused looking at all the different machines and their specs. I guess I just need some operator's experience.

I have a skid steer and love it. I have hired a big bobcat track loader and he can outwork my machine big time! The tracks don't tear the ground up like tires, and he can work in mud that would shut me down. They are a whole lot more $$$ though. If you are not operating in muddy or too hilly a wheeled machine will be fine for you. It's not horsepower as much as traction when you compare.
