Difference between MF 135 & MF 235??

What is the difference between the 135 & 235? If both same condition is there any advantages of one from the other??

Stay away from the MF235...the 135 is a much better tractor, worth more, and parts will be much easier to come by. The 235 is infamous for its steering problems.

Of all the 200 series, for some reason I have never liked the 235. It is not that we had any more problems with them or anything like that, I just don't like them. As far as the steering problems, when we sold them we never had any more problems with the 235 than we did with any of the of the other 200 series tractors. For the number of tractors we sold, we had very few problems.

The 235 was the logical replacement for the 135. Front ends were almost identical. There were SOME issues with steering on the 200 series with the swept-back axle (235) but nothing that a few parts won't take care of. The 245 had a heavier front axle (simular to 150/165/255) It was a BETTER choice when new.

The biggest advantage a 135 has over the 235 is ease of finding parts. Engine/tranny/hydraulic parts are ALMOST the same. The 135 was one of the all-time best selling tractor models. That leads to aftermarket parts out the whazoo.

I'd not shy away from EITHER model at a good price.
