Comparison Difference between Mahindra 3016 and 2816

Hi all,

I'm new here and I'm in the market for a ~30hp tractor. A local Mahindra dealer has a 3016 and 2816. My understanding is that the 2816 is older and discontinued, other than that, are there any differences?

You need to ask him how he knows, what proof he has.

The Mahindra website states 28 hp. However, your dealer may be one who has put the tractor through a dynamometer test, and found it to actually be higher. My dealer told me my 2615 HST dyno tested at closer to 28 hp.

I believe that most of the Mitsubishi--Mahindra tractors are 2-3 horse power more than their advertised output. Every Time they get a dyno put on them, they come out higher than advertised. :thumbsup: I know that my 3215HST has never lacked in power.
