This is by memory, subject to ‘Too Much TractorByNet’ syndrome /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif …
B7100 w/ 16 HP engine, had an older design. Available in F, DT, and HSD models. Manual steering. World's best-selling compact tractor (Kubota claim). Turf or R1 ag tires were available when new. Took the 1630c fixed mount or 1640 (I think - memory may be off!) quick-attach loader in the later model years. Lift capacity under-600lbs.
B1750 was a newer design, 20HP engine, available bi-speed turn. F, DT, HSE, HSD (Gear/2WD, Gear/4WD, Hydro/2WD, Hydro/4WD) models available. Power steering on 4WD models, turf, bar-turf, and R1 ag tires were available when new. Took the 1640 or LA300 loader, lift capacity, 600-650lbs (rough estimate, no data with me now). The
B1750 was replaced by the
B2100, not the
B1700 as many assume.
B1700 is the most recent model, 17 horsepower, flat deck, new design, all those nice features you find on the newer models. (Plastic, too!) Replaced the
B1550 and now replaced
by the
B7400/
B7500. The
B1700 has position control, which the newer replacement models do not have (nice feature). Power steering was standard on 4WD models. Turf, turf-bar, and R1 ag tires were available when new. The
B1700 took the LA301 loader, lifts 660lbs.
If you need, I could probably dig up some promo-photos for each of these machines, also.
Hipe this helps!
