Kubota B3200/L2501/SVL65-2/U35-4, IH 454/656, Ford NAA, Case 1845C/480E/450C LGP
The M7040SUHD is the 'special utility' version which has a few less features than the M7040HD. I can't off the top of my head remember the things that are different but I think performance wise they are about the same. M7040HD just has more 'amenities' if you will.
hey thanks, knew the su versions were more bare bones, just trying to figure out the particular differences between those 2 models, trip to the dealer might tell the tale..... thanks again

After looking a bit more on the Kubota site it seems the differences are very subtle. Looks like the SU has fixed 3pt hitch arms instead of telescoping, no tilt wheel, probably also doesn't have as nice of a seat or have the LCD display (just guessing on the last couple though.)
Its kinda an economey version of the very popular M7040HD. Like you guys said, its a more standard 3pt, they also strip some things off the platform like the floor mats. The biggest visible difference it the controls run down through the floor rather than having their own console on the right.
thanks! exactly what i needed to know.....not having the extendable rear arms & the shift in the middle may not be worth the savings. thanks again.
happy holiday seat time! bb
kubota also makes a 7040 limited. Same as a 7040hdc minus trailer connector plug, one rear veiw mirrow, and the top part of the seat. Might be one other small item. About $2000 less. Most dealers look at you cross eyed when you ask them about it.
