Gas $1.079/liter = 1.079 X 3.78 X 1.14 = $3.99 US/gal
Diesel $1.179/liter = 1.179 X 3.78 X 1.14 = $5.08 US/gal

Went down about 8-9 cents per liter yesterday.

Last week for my semi truck, on road fuel, $1.04 discount off of cash pump price. Pump price $3.78, I paid $2.74. One location, after discount, I filled up at $2.59 a gallon for on road diesel. All of these in Iowa. Fun thing is, factor out the state fuel tax, and the price was $2.37 a gallon.

Hit a new low for diesel today at $2.77. And you can see the gas is at $2.40 at this country store for only $0.37 difference.

3.89 a gallon today for diesel in Sault Sainte Marie Michigan. It's said that our prices remain higher because we border Canada. Not sure if that is true but from what I'm reading here it makes me think so.

$3.59 here in Indiana. Gas is 2.55. $1.04 difference is what we have had since early summer. I leave my F350 parked and drive the F150.

Anyone have any ideas why Diesel is so much higher than gasoline? $1+ gallon more is ridiculous!
