What is the usable service life on the DPF? I know they are expensive to replace on a truck.
I removed mine from my TYM built Cabela's tractor when it had about 20 hours on it. Just something else I don't have to worry about.
Did you have to reprogram it ?? I want to do that To my rk37 and can’t find any info whatsoever. Thanks. I know this is an older post but figured I’d try.I removed mine from my TYM built Cabela's tractor when it had about 20 hours on it. Just something else I don't have to worry about.
This is what I thought. That they can be cleaned and go much longer. Is a reman DPF filter just a cleaned and painted used one?The Kenworth dealer near us does a brisk business cleaning DPF's. $200 buys an overnight cook with an airflow test printout after the process. We have sent a couple that were out of warranty as cleaning is a fraction of the cost of even a reman OEM DPF.
