Oil & Fuel Diesel oil choice

I think the manual states a 10-30 or 10-40 diesel rated oil in the Kioti CK30---isn't 15-40 the commoner diesel choice?
Maybe they burn so cleanly nowdays the extra detergent in the 15-40 isn't desired?
What are you guys using in your Kioti's??

I run Rottella T 5W-40 sythetic (around $13/gallon at Wal- Mart). Works good in all seasons. Summer and winter.

5W-40 or 15-W40? just to be sure

If you are going to Walmart, just use their house brand 15w40 diesel rated oil. If you are going for a cheap oil, it is every bit as good as the price leader Rotella.

The Rotella T synthetic is 5W-40 ( this is what I have been running)
The reqular Rotella diesel rated oil is 15W-40.

A Group III (pseudo-synthetic) just like the Walmart house brand. Again, I'd go for the Walmart house brand if you just want the cheapest "synthetic" you can buy.
