Diesel Kiki Fuel Injector Pump for Hinomoto E16

Hello!

A friend of mine gifted me a Hinomoto e16. He said that there was a problem with the injector pump. The motor is 2 cyl. I am in the process of trying to locate a manual of some sort, or any information for this pump. My first question: Is this pump supposed to have oil in it? Second is there anywhere on God's green earth where a new pump and/or parts could be located?

Yes, the pump is supposed to have oil in it..
Your pic doesn’t show enough of the gov to tell if u have the full or drain screws.
Some do and some don’t..
On the back side of the pump there should be a vent pipe.. it will dump anything over the intended amount..
so there’s no worries of over filling it..1/2 qt should be fine.. use the same oil that’s in the tractor..

before u ask, I don’t sell parts..
AND IF your thinking of taking it off .. U HAVE TO TIME IT FIRST..

Well, I have the engine at TDC and pulled the injector pump. Gonna start going through it. Wish me luck!! Any ideas where to get gaskets and what not for the rebuild?

B careful when u remove the back cover.. it’s spring loaded and there’s shims on each side of the spring..
IDK what your going to do once u get the cover off, u need special tools to go any further..

Thanks for the heads up! What special tools would I need? My thinking is the tractor doesn't run with out the fuel injection pump, the fuel injector pump isn't opening the valves at all let alone in time. I can't seem to find even a picture of the pump let alone a replacement or even a whisper of a replacement part. So really what do I have to lose?

An injection pump is considered an “emissions device”.. therefore not open to public information..
It’s a specialized trained group of people that are factory trained and pay for the privilege for the information necessary to repair these pumps..
I’m not gonna tell u u can’t take it apart w a hammer and screwdriver... but getting it back together and it in running condition is gonna b tough.. real tough..
