I have an 801 Ford diesel tractor. Recently had a lot of work done on the engine. Now I find the oil dipstick has liquid much higher than the "full" mark and the dipstick smells a whole lot like diesel fuel. Any ideas about what the problem might be or the solution?

What work did you have done to the engine?

It comes from the injector pump and runs down it's drive shaft, making your engine oil grow. That is not good news. Anyway... If you had engine work done, my guess would be someone took the injector pump off and damaged the seal or it is not even there. All I know, that injector pump has to come off the engine.

Could also be a bad injector. Usually it won't run as smoothly.
