Diesel filter for a T5C

Hello,

I recently bought a 98 T5C. It has the Perkins engine.

As I was changing the filters I found that the only fuel filter is a small inline filter. Seems to me a diesel should have a better filter system.

I'm thinking some previous owner might have removed or ? the filter.

If there is someone that could look at their Perkins diesel and tell me if it has a different filter that would be great.

A photo or drawing would help.

I would think that it should have a better filter than an inline setup. My Terramite is gas, but I have a john Deer mower with a Yanmar diesel in it, and it has a nice water trap fuel filter set up on it. Sorry I could not be more specific about your particular machine. Hopefully someone else will chime in about the Perkins.

I have a 94 t5c that has a lomborgini focs series diesel. The fuel water seperater is canister type, part of the engine. My suggestion is to check out a boat marina and they have water /fuel filters canister type. only problem for u is if u can find a place to mount it.
