I lost one of the check chains on my B3200 and ordered a new one from the dealer. It matched the one in the diagram in the B3200 Operator's Manual (part # K12500), but not the one on the tractor. In researching, I found that it matches the ones on the BX series tractors (part # K11700). The K12500 check chain connects directly to the bracket whereas the K11700 connects to a u-bolt which connects to the bracket.

Did the dealer put a lesser quality hitch kit on the B3200 or is this a standard configuration for the B3200? Anyone know where I can get specs on the 2 different kits for the BX and B series?

I like this guy and don't want to believe he'd do that to make a few extra bucks.

Well, apparently no worries. The last few productions of B3200 in 2013 changed the 3 pt hitch to attach the check chain to the bracket on the tractor with a clevis. This isn't what's shown in the manual or the parts list. Took the dealer awhile to sift thru all this, and it looks like the part for the B3000 so hopefully that'll do it.
