Did anyone use the Ventrac edger to make flower beds using the 4500?

Hi guys,
Has anyone used the edger to make flower beds?
Does it work well?
Is it worth renting it for $100 a day?

Want to get some input from some of you that used it.

I have used my 4500 for this purpose. I made my own edger, works the same as ventracs. Works great.
