Diahtsu vs. Mitsubishi

I see that alot of the newer Cubs are made by Diahtsu. Anyone know why? My 7260 has a Mitsubishi. I also noticed that the literature for the 7000 series mentions the Diahtsu and Kawasaki engines, but says nothing about Mitsubishi.

I saw that too. Don't know why though. Hopefully there's no issues with the Mitsu engines and the Kaw's and Dahatsu'swere just cheaper or something...
