Developing Treadle Problem

Today while plowing snow my treadle started making a slight noise. The noise has gotten worse. It is a clanking noise and only does it while moving forward or reverse.
Not familiar with treadles. What should I be looking for? has far as being broken or maintenance.

Check parking brake is not partially operated.

Thanks RegL, the brake was slightly raised. So glad thats all it was. Everything is good now.

Yep, that scares you the first time you hear it.... thunk, thunk, thunk. Stop. It stops. Go it thunks. Both directions!!! YIKES! What did I break now!!!

Stupid parking brake. Make it too tight and you can't apply or release the brake. Too loose and you thunk thunk thunk. It's another poor design, yet we love these beasts!! :laughing:
