Anyone own a Mk2 Agrotron? The one i have has 775 hours on it and i find the oil very black in it at 250 hours any ideas why? (oil gets changed at 250 but should go out to 500 hours)

I have 11 tractors, includeing Deutz. I'd NEVER let anyone of them get 250 hours on it before changeing the oil,
let alone 500 hours!! Isn't this tractor worth the price of changeing the oil at 100 hours or so??

yea i hear ya on that , i know a guy next door to us with a JD 3140 who changed his oil at 100 and filters at 200Hr's .Most newer tractors have made there changers longer 500 eng and 1200Hr for tran's is the norm ..others that have the agrotrons (110-150Hp) are going out to 500 but i feel it's to long .as for price the one i have is worth around kiwi$ 150 000 (about 75 000 US$)with oil costing $90 per 20 Lts (US$45 per 4.5 Gls)it is a small price
