Deutz Allis 5215 synchro shift, fuel system problem

I have a Deutz Allis 5215 synchro shift that Ive had since new. I recently moved it from a tractor shed to my shop with a concrete floor and noticed that it drips a little fuel on the floor. I traced this to the injector fuel return line which is just hanging loose at the rear of the engine. I believe this line should be feeding back to the fuel tank but I cant find where/how. The manual doesnt show this detail

Can anyone provide any guidance?

No guidance here unless u can provide pictures.. but on the brite side, you are correct.. it should be hooked to "something".
check the injectors return on the last injector.. they either run back into the pump inlet, the filter head or back to the tank..
Your pump return might run to a tee at the last injector.??

Thanks for the response. I went out to take some pictures and in so doing, I found the broken end of the hose was hidden in behind the firewall. I was able to pull enough out to make the connection. Looks like I’ll have to expose the fuel tank to replace that part of the hose.

This might help someone in the future so I took a few pictures. I moved the hose up in the high pressure supply line for the rear injector to make it easier to see.

I'd suggest a clamp or tye wrap on it.
Also around here the danged mud daubers would have nested in that line if it was off for long,
did you happen to check if it was clear to the tank.

Same here in WV. It was clear bit I ran a long tapered punch up in it just to be sure.
