i have a duetz that has a problem with the pto jumping out or not going into drive does anybody have info on how to adust clutch or pto pic or info sure would help thanks merle ark. ra18549096@yahoo.com

I'm not understanding what the problem is... and I'm assuming you are talking about a 40-06?

There's a sliding collar in side the rear end that engages your pto, perhaps it's partly striped out?? It's connected to the pto engagement lever, so either it's going all the way in or it isn't?

now it will not go in but when it did their was a lot of grinding does the adjustment rod on the clutch have anything to do with it (clutch reaaly heard to push in )

Will it go in with the engine off??

IF it will, then I agree that your pto clutch is out of adjustment.

how do you adjust is their a lever on the side that has a allthread that you can adjust
