I'm looking for ways to pull up Japanese Stiltgrass that's growing all over the place. It pulls up using a hand rake dethacher. I tried using a dethaching blade on my Lawnboy. It seems to cut the stuff more than pull it up.

What might work on the tractor?

Maybe a landscape rake? What price do they usually run for a 4 to 5 footer?

Do they make springs to bold onto the ends of the brush hog blades that would reach down and work in dethaching?

Decided to try Googling it. It's "dethatcher".

Agri-Fab makes some pull behind models. Would be easy to attach a chain to it and the 3ph to lift it to back up with it; I imagine.

Anyone use these?

I'm not familiar with Japanese Stiltgrass, but when I was mowing with the Toro ZTR, I occasionally towed this dethatcher from Sears. But now that I've gone back to a walk behind mower, I bought a Mantis tiller with their dethatcher attachment. In fact, I did my entire yard this past week and it rakes it loose a lot better than the tow behind one did. But I've no experience with ones you can tow behind your tractor.
