The inner shaft bearing on my Eurocardan shaft grenaded. I don't know what series the shaft is. The shaft is a "lemon" shape. I've gone to Eurocardan site, but nowhere can I find dimensions. Any help would be appreciate.

Determine the shaft series by measuring the cross cap diameter and width with caps installed. Match the shaft style. Then find your components based on style and series.

Thanks Rick & Pat. The cross bearings are a series 4, but the shield bearing is not. The lemon shape shaft is a German design. The tiller is Brittish manufacure. The shield bearing seems to be a series 6, but I still do not have confirmation of that. I sent an email to the tiller manufacturer to get some clarification.

The cross may match the series 4 spec but that's where the shaft profile comes into play. You have a Walterscheid shaft and that series will be W2xx0. Berhaps the shield bearings are a bastard size, but perhaps they match the Walterscheid spec which would differ from the Bondioli & Pavese specs.

Winner winner chicken dinner. It looks like the shield bearing is a series 6 from the dimensions online. Now I just need to find a supplier.

For some reason I was thinking that it was a Eurocardan shaft. That's what messed up my research.
