This thread is a year and a half old? What did you ultimately decide to do? Did you keep the property for yourself?
Hopefully there was enough money in the estate that any money to buy out the property or to do repairs was able to come from the estate.

I got a loan and paid 10% over appraisal and bought as-is from siblings otherwise no concensus.
Siblings wanted it cleared out ASAP and put on the market… said just about everything get rid of best way you can.
Since purchase the value has tanked about 20% so add in my 10% over appraisal payment and I overpaid about 30%
Plus no sales commission for the sale and cleanup costs incurred to the siblings… they did very well.
Got it done…
