Detachable cutting edge for JD 430 FEL

If you want a reason to acquire a new attachment, a set of forks would work great for lifting the bucket up onto some saw horses setup at the drill press.

Its funny how often my forks get used to move the bucket or visa-versa. Murphy's law must have something to do with it. It always seems that wherever I leave an attachment I am not using, it eventually needs to be moved for some reason before I actually need to use it again. Maybe I need more land and more garage/shed space?

Well I got the cutting edge put on my 430 FEL bucket.
It wasn't quite as bad as I thought to drill the holes as
the steel is softer than I anticipated. I drilled 1/4 inch pilot
holes and then drilled the 1/2 inch holes. I ended up dulling
three 1/2 inch bits, one that I had and a third that I bought.
