Does anyone know of a bolt-on grapple (that bolts onto a bucket) that is detachable with pins? It seems that I came across one some time back on the net. I would also be interested in sources for any bolt-on grapples.

Andy Tatro makes a bolt on bucket grapple that more than a few TBN members have used. PM me and I'll send you his phone number so you can call him direct.

My ATI 4866 grapple is removable in either of two modes. The movable part of the grapple can be removed by pulling 3 or 4 pins. This leaves a 3.5 inch pipe across the top of the bucket with the grapple hinge points and the hydraulic cylinder mount.
The whole thing can also be removed by unbolting 4 bolts at each end of the unit.

I have never removed mine since it rarely gets in my way. BTW; a toothbar is necessary for really effective use of the grapple.

The treir shear is the unit that I Have although they call it a clipper now. I like the idea of being able to mount it to the left. It would certainly give me better visibility for my work. It is a well made unit so their grapple should be too.
