not to burst your bubbles, but I have gotten into the habbit of asking customers who did research on the internet if they stumbled upon this site. So far, only one has. Most only end up at the manufacturers site.

As for me and TBN, I was shopping grey market tractors and then came upon this net. I quickly realized that I had a lot of research to do...the result was my purchase of a new Kubota tractor.

Neil , you didn't burst my bubble /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif As you've had only one customer that has read anything on TBN , why not suggest it to those that are "just trying to decide " ? I don't know if that will increase your sales or not . But it might go a long way in giving you a good rep as an honest and straight up dealer .
Basically , you'd be saying , "don't take my word for it , look hear (at TBN ) and then decide ". JMHO John

i wonder that if kubotas sales are up that much, could we not assume that all manufactures sale are up? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif i love my kubota, but would imagine tha NH, JD, KIOTI, all would have increased sales. they all make fine machines and would guess that they have their share of increased sales also. or am i wrong in this thinking? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

This is some speculation, but I get the vibe that Kubota is going to take a huge chunk of the market this year. Exchange rates with other countries are impacting the price of tractors alot. The exchange between us and Japan has been very close, others places we are way down. This is killing those companies that import from india, turkey, mexico, etc. I think some companies are not pricing as aggressivly and holding their inventory low to try and ride out the steel and exchange rate problems they are facing. Those making equipment domesticly and those who export are doing much better. Kubota has shown no signs of this to us, yet most every other company has.

Just speculation, only so much of what happens behind closed doors trickels down.
