See my sig photo below. The ARPS 3-point backhoe on the (larger) YM240 was sold as OEM Yanmar for that specific Yanmar model, also as OEM Kubota for their 20 hp models. It weighs 750 lbs.

I tried mounting that backhoe on the little YM186D, and couldn't lift it. I need a smaller backhoe for the little guy. Then I won't need the larger Yanmar.

Near 100% of my backhoe use is digging out rotted stumps in the apple orchard for re-planting, not a heavy application. (Photo). Also grubbing out blackberry and scrub oak volunteers that are intertwined with apple trees and so close that discing can't get them. (Photo2) (Photo3). Trenching? Only a couple of hours in the last 12 years. Not a priority.

I finally located a model of small 3-point backhoe intended for the little Kubota BX etc. It weights 520 lbs. Italian made and claimed better quality than Chinese etc backhoes.

Here's what I'm considering, a Del Morino RES-10. Anybody have experience with these?

Update - Tractorco describes this little backhoe as 6' Digging depth. In their Photos tab there are photos from Sotatractors where the spec sheet for that model shows digging depth is 140 cm, 4.6 ft.

Think I'll pass on this one.
