Defective Kubota Power Steering

CAUTION RTV 900 defective power steering at 250+ hrs. Kubota will only give 50% of replacement part, no labor ( took 6 hrs. Of labor to replace)

Sorry to hear this. What went wrong with the power steering? Have you contacted corporate?

i noticed my rtv 900 steering makes a noise in it almost like it had air pockets or was going into relief as the steering wheel was turned. just briefly as i am turning it, but has done it since i got it. had it for 5 years and has 461 hours on it. always worked fine though=just a noise so far.

Tatraman, c'mon back, we'd like to have details of symptoms, part number replaced, if you did it yourself or done by dealer, type of terrain you have, etc. Repairs never fun and details help us all in the TBN community better understand and maintain our vehicles.

My RTV 1140 hisses when turning....does your RTV do this....before/after replacement?

Since this is your first post, you have any other equipment, Kubota or otherwise?

Must have been out of warranty on months/years but not hours. He's probably fortunate to get 1/2 the parts cost. Manufacturers write very few policy adjustments on out of warranty repairs.
