My dealer sold me a mx7 because the sales info says it will fit imatch. Problem is it does NOT fit. According to the website MX6 and smaller will do CAT I imatch but mx7 and bigger are CAT II quick coupler. I have a 4720 tractor so I guess I will have to stick with a MX6... Anyone had experience with this issue?

Never run up against that problem... but, any chance you have extendable draft links on your 4720? Might not be that difficult to hook the MX-7 up with just the 3pt!

IIRC - radman1 has used a MX-10 on his 4520. It pulled it and did a decent job... but, he felt it was just a bit "much" for 50hp @ pto.

Depending upon the kinds of mowing work you have in mind - a semi-mount MX-8 - might just be the "cat's jammies" on your 4720.

My dealer likes to sell the MX7 with the 4520 and 4720 too, but in my use an MX6 is plenty of weight on the rear for me.

I thought I read of a similar issue with the mx7 and 4000 series and it was due to the mx7 being cat 2. I can't seem to find the thread now though.

I've got an MX-7 on a 4720. It is a tight fit sometimes getting it on there but it works well.
