Just wondering if anyone has found a cheaper alternative? A simple sensor like this made in Mexico should only cost a third of what JD charges.
LVA11184 is now replaced by LVA17409 and it sells for $77.75
Surely this simple hall effect sensor can be found cheaper.
Also, people have stated that after hitting a bump, their tractors worked fine. Makes me wonder if taking off the sensor, cleaning the contacts and inspecting, might work? Maybe some di-electric grease on the contacts?
