Deere 7Iron mulch on demand new deck?

I know this isnt available for TRACTORS but this is bada$$! If it were between a JD 757 commercial mower with a deck you flip a lever and turn it into mulch mode i wouldnt have considered any other brands when i got my Ferris last year /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Sure would be nice if that feature could be added to older 7 Iron mowers. Like my F735 has. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The Mulch on Demand deck was available in limited quantity last year, I believe only 450 units or so to test the market....there have been some improvments made on it on this years model...very nice indeed. I feel we will be moving many of these units to our commercial mowing people.

Stopped by the dealer to checkout the mulch option on new 7 Iron decks. Sure looks good. But they do not make my mower any more. So the option will not be available for it. They had a Trac-Vac DS100 Discharge Shied that may not make my mower a mulcher. But should help with keeping grass clippings out of pond and off the walk ways.
Told the salesman I would take one. He and others looked all over store. Could not find the 2 that computer said were in stock. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif They ordered me one, should be in later this week.
