Deere 620i park brake adjustment?

A couple months ago I had to have the dealer replace the seal behind the park brake (warranty). Since then every time I've used it the park brake gradually gets tighter and starts screeching. I can spread the pads apart with a screwdriver but it does again and again. I've adjusted the turnbuckle that connects to the lever on the brake until only a couple threads are holding it. This is the only adjustment that I can see. Anyone else have any ideas? I hate to take it back to the dealer. They didn't get it right the last time so I don't have much faith in them getting it right the next time.

It looks to me like the brake shoes need to be re-arked to the drum.

I dono anything about that model but what the issue looks like but on paper;

It looks like the shoes are being forced/bent into the center of the radius instead of making equal contact accross its entire surface.

If you can picture bending a strip of metal into a circle; it wants to bend back out but maintains contact towards the ends. When it is fixed at the ends, it has to buckle or push on the circle.

Sometimes, just flipping the shoes with each other will do the trick.

Looks to me: if the "teq" didn't put on new-arked shoes, he or she put the old ones back on and flipped them. Easy to do since they look alike in most cases. A closer look reveals a gap between the drum and asbestos.

Just a guess tho, I probably am out of my league..........

The outside shoe has grommets in the holes that the bolts/pins go through. This shoe moves very little, if any, when the brake is set. The inside shoe doesn't have any grommets and is held in place with spring tension. This shoe is the one that moves when the brake is set. I doubt the shoes were flipped during reinstallation because of the grommets in the outside shoe. There would be no reason to remove the grommets.
