Deere 4100 - how would you roll it if it breaks down?

As the title suggests, is there a hydraulic release lever or nut that can be turned so the wheels can free-wheel and prevent damage to the hydraulics like you might find on a Z-Trac or smaller tractor? And then there is the question of how would you steer it and what to do with the loader while towing/dragging. I致e been very fortunate over the years not to be faced with this but I always want to know what I would do in that situation, especially if it happened on the road during a quick transport through the neighborhood or somewhere. Thanks for any input.

Depending on what "breaks down" but... Put the transmission in neutral, I'd think.
And if on the road, don't lower the FEL to the ground. Steering is hard, but will work without the engine pumping oil I believe.

Our 4010 "broke down" when the Ujoint off the engine blew apart. NOTHING works: FEL is down (if not down, it'll drift down), bush hog is down on the ground (actually it would stay up if HST went down when it was up; think mine was up a tad), steering works but very hard.

My neighbor came over and towed it from my back yard to the turnaround area edge for JD to pick it up.

Fortunately, it did not break down when I was running the trails down along the creek. Would have been a long tow and tricky if it had to be towed across the tractor crossing over a little stream.
