Deere 400
I've got a mechanical tree planter that is a bit bigger than I want to hitch to my "little" 400 so we rented a tractor from sunbelt. We booked a 29hp but got a 49hp.

The tree planter was borrowed from the local DNR and has no markings and we got little to no instruction. It looks like the model 5200 here: R.A. Whitfield Manufacturing Co. Products except its blue.

It has hydraulic hoses for raising and lowering the plow but I am not sure on where to connect them on the rental tractor, a deere 4044m. The hoses look like they might be long enough to reach the middle of the tractor if need be. The tractor does have an FEL mounted so some connections are in use.

Can anybody help me out? We plan on getting started about 9 am tomorrow.

If you can unplug the curl cylinder hoses you could use those outlets to operate the plow. That is assuming there are not a set of rear couplers to use. Compare the male couplers on the hose ends to make sure they match exactly before attempting to plug in.
