Deere 1070
I've got a Deere 1070 w/MFWD, and I accidently high centered the tractor on a log and bent the FWD shaft. If I roll the shaft on a flat surface, it looks to be bent about 3/8". It seems to work fine, but I'm worried that I'll quickly wear out the bearings if I leave it as is. Is this likely?...if so, can I straighten the shaft myself? Is there an easy way to do this, and how straight do I need to get it.

I'd put a floor jack under it and push up until its back to shape. This is the drive shaft inside a thin F/A tube, right? You'll need to straighten the dent in the tube, too, eh?

My 1070 tube/shield had some fracture issues and I easily repaired it. Stick a wide wooden broom handle down it and hammer the dent out.
