I am looking for an operators manual for my 1983 deere 1050.

Any suggestions?

Try a John Deere dealer. The part number for the manual is OMR70718. Add CD to the end if you want it on a computer disk. The technical manual is TM1192.

I found a operators manual and a shop manual on ebay for mine. Just one word of caution, the I&T shop (or tech manuals) are not nearly as helpful as the JD manual.

Is yours 2wd or 4wd?

You can also order the real JD manuals at 1-800-522-7448. I bought the owner's manual, the shop service manual, and the parts manual from them. The parts manual is very helpful when using the shop manual as it gives exploded views of everything on the tractor.
