1025R Engine started OK in the morning. Attached forks and moved a refrigerator. Later that morning, tried to start and heard relay clicking, then a message on the dash reading "Preheat Coil Fault, Pull Coil". Put a voltmeter on the battery and it measured 12.5 VDC. With the voltmeter attached, turned the key (1st click where glow plugs come on) and heard the same repeated clicking. Voltage at that time dropped to 4.6 VDC. Started by jumping with a pickup battery. While running, the battery terminals read 14.4 VDC (so charging circuit is good). Pulled the battery and NAPA tested it at 4 amps cranking current (spec and battery says it should be 500 CCA). Replaced the battery and she started right away.
To remove the battery I had to remove the left side headlight (left while sitting in the seat) - (2) screws and it came out - tilt the battery on its side, and lift it out. Some dope put a plastic cable support inside the front grill that blocks the battery from coming out straight up.
The battery cost $135 plus tax - let's go Brandon.
