Have a relic, using on the farm pretty solid unit . Problem is a bad boom valv. its not just the seals have replaced them several times. The internal valve walls are worn creating slop in the piston movement. Deer does not supply the assembly. Have previously purchased a used unit lasted about a week, blowed by seals again, need a suggestion. Would prefer not the scrap metal option.

Take the part to a good machine shop and they should be able to bore and sleeve it back to original size.

Your best bet is to purchase a new valve. Forget that rebuilding thing. you can only replace o-rings, and they are not for pressure.

Look through these valves and find something suitable.
