Deep mud truck modification

Could off used that setup about 40 years ago, I high centered our DNR Suburban survey truck on a fire trail in the hills near Adna WA. The 8k lb winch wouldn't budge it. We spent a good part of the afternoon digging it out. Fortunately my party chief was more amused than not, he did tell me that he would rather have me drive for 30 minutes around the mountain rather than try the next five minute (not!) shortcut.

That' pretty sweet... LOL. Put you a motor in that thing and you want have to get that deep.

Hmmm It would be OK in firm mud but with the slush I see in those competition mudholes I doubt it would do much. Fascinating idea though.
