Buying Advice Deciding between L3800 and JD3320

Well, pulled the trigger on the JD3320 (500 hours) with 300CX loader with heavy-duty 61" bucket and toothbar, 72" belly mower and 6' Landpride box blade. Serviced, shined up and delivered to my doorstep for the low, low price of $19k. Just spent the last couple hours mowing, moving a dirt pile, smoothing that out and grading a road. It's pretty unbelievable the amount of work I got done in such a short time (and I'm still getting used to the machine). The challenge now is just to start thinking of things to use it for.

Congrats, I think you made a wise decision! I'll take a used 'feature' tractor over a new 'economy' tractor every day of the week. Sounds like a good deal to me as well.

That's kind of what I thought. 496 hrs. at that point. They cleaned it up pretty well before dropping it off.

Looks new to me. I'm thinking the belly mower is around $3K or more with the mid PTO. I hope you enjoy it as much as your helpers seem to!

Congrats on your find. Had I found something that nice on the used market, I'd have bought it. After several months of looking around here, I couldn't find any used tractors that were both clean enough to want + priced significantly less than a new one. With that in mind, I shifted my search to a new tractor w/ warranty.
