After a couple trips to each dealer, I've decided I will purchase a Kioti CK model from Dubberly in Chester, VA. The have been extremely helpful, good prices, and I have dealt with them before on implements and had good experience.

Now I have to decide which model to get. I will be getting FEL w/ toothbar, BH, 60" HD rotary cutter, 66" box blade, tires filled, and 20' 10,000 lb trailer. I do have a budget in mind, so these are my choices:

CK35 shuttle
CK30 hydro
CK30 shuttle + 60" tiller

I will purchase a tiller at some point, but I can borrow one for this years garden. If I purchase it with the package now, I do save a couple hundred bucks.

My last tractor was a JD 790, so I'm used to gears and this shuttle is 100% better than the non-synchro, non shuttle 790 tranny. I like the idea of getting the most hp in the chassis, but if the CK30 is plenty strong maybe I don't need the extra 5 hp.

Opinions?

Have you considered the DK35 hydro? Or does it put you "over" budget?

Too big for my needs.

I was seriously considering a Kubota B series for the fact that it's smaller, but have decided on the CK.

I think the CK30HST is hard to beat.

Bingo, tillers do work nicer with HST. And for what you need the HST will give you everything you want.

Hello Jay, what prices are you getting on the three if i may ask? The ck30hst is what i have, i use a 72 in boxblade and it handles it no problem, even in clay.. I also run a 84 in landscape rake, and use the Woods 80x on it , which it is a perfect match i must say. If you like the gear, get it, youll get more power out of the ck30 then with the hydro.. I liked the hydro myself because it makes loader work a breeze , backing up on steep hills is nicer as well ,among many other things.. The ck30 is a little brute, it really utilizes its weight and gives excellent power to the ground because of it. I have never ran out of power with mine as of yet. I would love to try out the ck35, i would imagine in that frame it must be a little beast.. I dont think youd go wrong with any of the above.. Its really just your personal preference.. Good luck Matt
