Drewintoledo,
I am so bummed your situation has not been corrected. I would be really frustrated as well. In fact, I would demand for my dealer to buy my tractor back so I can get another tractor in its place. When I made the statement LS had corrected the issue, it was in regards to the new sub frame correction on all new tractors. I know there is another member on the forum who had his tractor torn apart to have the new sub frame installed and if I remember correctly, he received a new motor as well.
What have they done to your tractor? Is your tractor in service at home or still at the shop? You say they sent you the shim kit, did you install it? If so, do you have leaks? If the shims work and you have no leaks, it sounds like " in there minds" they have corrected the issue, but not to your peace of mind. If that is the case, once again, I would say to sell or trade your tractor in. I get what you are saying about not getting the service you deserve. We spend a lot of money on our equipment.
But I will say this. I have been on all the other manufactures owner forums and they "ALL" have complaints, bad service, mechanical problems and everything else just like we do with LS.
Here is what I would do if I was in your situation. I would USE the tractor as if you never new there was an issue. I would use it for everything and "IF" something bad happens, LS will than have to deal with Me on a much bigger issue which will cost them more money. We have a solid warranty that covers our tractors. As for them waiting for your warranty to end, I highly doubt it. You have documentation of the problem and or issue. But I would document any and "ALL" maintenance you do on your tractor as proof.
I hope you can enjoy your tractor as much as I am enjoying mine. Please give us an update on progress.
