Part 1 (The good)
Well we were without power for almost 5 days, Finally my generator gets to take a much deserved break. My trees as well as many others suffered heavily. Definitely have to thank the guys from PIKE electric who travel from Kentucky and spent Christmas away from their families to help restore power to all of us. Part 2 will document the bad and the 15 hours i put on the tractor beginning to clean up the mess.

On the plus side the ice made for some spectacular sights.

Yeah lots of good hard work thanks we try to enjoy life even when mother nature poo poo's on us.

Thanks much appreciated. To answer your question the tires might as well be drag radials on hard pack or ice. In Snow they work pretty good. I'd love to buy a set of the Aqulinie Talons however i remember getting a price of roughly $1000 for just the rears someday dreaming. I believe the fronts were like $300. I have to many other implements that i need/want first.

Yup, that's why mine doesn't have a set of chains yet - stoopit budget. Thanks for the reply!

Too bad about the trees, and the play set thing looks like it took a pretty good hit too. Ice is the worst thing to get I think.

Well, it is what it is, and you deal with. :) Beats the alternatives. Glad your power is back, it's always fun to stop tending the generator.

Thanks yeah its a bummer. On the plus side the big oak made about 2 full cords of oak.
Play set is toast it split darn near all the boards on the frame.

Definitely glad to stop feeding the generator it's a thirsty little bugger drinking about $50 a day in gas. We have an electric water heater
