Buying Advice Dealers Not Ordering 2011 tractors

Hi Want To Buy A Boomer 40,4x4 With Loader,3 Dealers In The USA,Told Me The 2011's Are Junk And Are Not Ordering Any,Instead They Are Buying Up ,The 4 Digit Numbers Like 3040Or Models 2010 And 2009 And 2008,Sitting On Lots Where Ever,They are not Happy With The 2011 Year Tractors,,Now My Local Dealer Won't Tell me Anything but They Are Great And I Cover All I Sell,Thats fine,I Just Don't Want A Lemon,Crying Wolf Hay Its Still Making Noise Or A Clunk,Ya Know The Story's,That Happen With New Vehicles,Pat Ya On The Back When Ya Buy It ,And Screw Ya When Ya need It Fixed,NOW Don't Get Me Wrong Been A Ford Man,Vehicles And Tractors Long Time,Got A 52 8N Fires Right Up,And Hate To Trade,It When They Wont Give Ya Anything For What ya got , But Want To Know Have These's 2011 Been A Nightmear For people Out There,The Dealer Story's Been Turning Off ,And Now Looking For New Old Stock 3040,But 4.9 finince Sucks Where Free If i Get 2011, So Whatz Going On.

well we have had great experiences so far with the new Boomer series. no problems, and even previous Boomer model owners like the new one better than the old series. that is just us. ALL compact tractors get o% for 60 months no mater what model so i dont know where you got 4.9% from? The new boomers arent junk, just something new and some dealers are affraid of change and new,

When I sat on the Boomer 40, it felt like my knees were going into my chest and it was a chore to lift your leg to move between the hydro pedals. I would find it tough to sit on this tractor for hours. However, when I sat on the Boomer 3040, I had more leg room, better field on vision and could go on.

I don't want this to sound like a smart aleck response but was the seat in the moved back position or was it possibly in the far forward position?


I go to my NH dealer every so often and climb up on the new tractors for fun (I love checking out the new tractors)and never felt like I was being squashed into shape on the new Boomers and I am 6 -1'

I have never driven the new LS models but just by looking at them they appear to have better paint and finish than the older Boomers. I also like the all metal hoods and fenders. They have that nice thick glossy paint on the drivetrains the Deeres have that seem to hold up better and does not fade and get rust spots after just a few years.

Sweep, i will agree, the new Boomers actually have more leg room and a better seat than the previous. i though the same thing when i read that comment.

Well when I got on it, I was cramped. The seat was way too low and the seat was all the way back; when I pushed back on the seat adjustment, I hit the ROPS. Maybe you guys have a different seat, the one I was on had a black seat.

the seat is an adjustable mechanical suspension seat so being to low is an easy fix. you can adjust it to ride and sit how you want it to be. i could see how if it was to low that it woudl be very uncomfortable for sure.

i dont know where the dealer is located comapred to you but it looks like DOTTERER EQUIPMENT, INC,......... has a few 3040 4x4 tractors,....... The only one I can think of is the PowrTrac. but it is quite a bit different than the typical CUT, there is a forum for them here. The rest are from Japan, Korea, China, India. A lot of them are assembled here in the USA, or maybe all of them.

Yeah, most everything is assembled here, but not produced here. Just on the assembly point, did you ever see the report on the Kubota facility in Oakwood, GA? It is interesting that 37 people are on the line that can assemble 50 to 60 tractors a day for Kubota.
