Dealer question on KL120 fix

I’m thinking about buying a used 2005 CK20 hst TLB from a private party. At this time I don’t know if the owner is aware of the KL120 loader cracking issue, or the fix. My question is will dealers perform the fix even if I’m not the original owner?

Yes, they will.

Like Mike said. However, almost no one has had their loader fixed yet. The kits are due to be shipped any moment now unless Kioti has had another delay.

The warranty is only one year for the loader however Kioti has indicated that they will cover all the KL120s since the model was introduced so that will not be an issue for the loader repair kit.

Island, this may have come up before, but Kioti is adding another year of warranty to all loaders that get the retrofit kit.

MotorSeven, when did that information come out, first I heard of it.

I think I do recall something about an extention of the warranty on the loaders (? from Wallace's posting of the dealer letter) but no customer has received any letter confirming that as far as I know.

Papa, when the kit became available, i called my dealer and they faxed me what Kioti had sent them. In that info was the warranty extension. I will see if i can find it and post it, but i retire in 11 days and am moving, so things are a little hectic !

You caught me, i have been cheating. The Ck is in TN on my property. I have been "trapped" in S FL for the last year or so waiting for my 20 year pension. No rat bird here....i will be putting that Ck to work and hard....20 ac of pasture to fence, a 30x50 steel building(delivered on 03/13...we arrive in TN on the 12th!), logs to skid and mill to build a house up on the ridge, oh, and a barn to build, pond, 1/4 mile driveway......etcetcetc. "Retirement" may not be the proper application of my post career life !
I don't even know how long it will take to get back online, so y'all may not hear from me for awhile........
