Dealer closing: Deals???

When a retail tractor/equipment dealer decides to stop selling new tractors, are there deals to be had?

Does a manufacturer offer the dealer some financial incentives to clear the in- stock inventory?

Even if they don't knock much off on a tractor, you probably could get some deals on implements and accessories.

Usually the dealer will try to transfer unsold units to other dealers if they can find a dealer that will take the tractors. Your closing dealer may offer discounts based on that.

At least with Kubota, dealership inventory is often owned by Kubota, rather than the dealer.

Tractor demand has been high and inventory short the last two years.
