Reps from Discovery Channel, which airs Deadliest Catch tell Examiner.com, "We actually do not have that information as of yet." The network does confirm plans for a public memorial service are in the works, but the specifics including where or when it will be held have not been released yet.

Captain Phil Harris suffered an on-the-job stroke while off-loading his fishing vessel, Cornelia Marie, on January 29. The 53 year old died Tuesday, February 9 several days after his deckhand sons said their father was making progress in his recovery.
