Not PT related much, but I wanted to apologize upfront for the following bash to my east coast brethren. How do you guys live with the humidity? I was in DC this weekend for an opening of a museum (black tie with politico's which was very cool for me) and a premiere of a movie. It was so darn humid... I can't imagine the summer there. I nearly fainted in my penguin suit. And also I am sorry we did not have time to say hello to anyone. It was one of those arrive at 10 PM Thursday night and it was go go go from 6A to 2A every night...

I will be back and will stick my head in and say hello to you poor right coasters....

Move to Indiana! 20 below in winter. 100+ in summer. 90% humidity is common in summer. I love it! :)

Don't wear a Penguin suit. I live west or Richmond and a little higher up (240 feet above sea level). This helps some.

Nice weather here - below freezing at night, sunny and 40 - 60's during the day. No rain for the whole week!

Humidity? It beats falling into the ocean any day. I can't wait until Las Vegas has beach front.

DC is so humid because of all the hot air being blown around.

Good pope brought good air to DC, the weather could not be any better in last few days, a bit cool, dry and sunny, bad part of it I'm cooped up in meetings in last Two days:( :( I have not missed all the cherry blossoms , there are still many beautiful pink blossoms all over the place,

JC,

PS, I have to agree a lot of hot air and associated humidity can be traced to abundance of human induced hot air in this town.

I guess the humidity has shifted over to Pennsylvania for a while.

It's going to get boring around here in a few days.

You will still have your guns and religion to cling to.

You sound bitter. :p

O.K. I apologize. No political or religious discussions. Let's stick to hot air.:)

Funny - I was just in Ridgecrest via LA last week - same temps basically but no humidity - but the desert winds! Who needs Disneyland - just take the hop from LAX to Inyokern (30 seater prop) - better than any roller coaster. Last time I drove in from Ontario and the wind blew sand like a sandblaster - actually took paint off the front grill of the rental car.

I've been in the DC area for most of my 40+ years (3 in coastal GA - wanna talk humidity) and I think the left coast is great - but really like our green stuff out here. Worth the price of the humidity. Such a stark contrast to the desert foliage.
