Well after sitting overnight they found a tiny tiny pin hole leak in a metal AC tube. Obviously a very very slow leak but at least it was found and I feel better in a way that the factory didn’t forget to fill the system in the first place. Part has been ordered and should have the tractor back early next week with a working AC system and a block heater.

Finishing out this story. The tube/hose arrived and was installed yesterday the pinhole was in the metal elbow on the tubing it has metal portion on both ends with rubber in the middle about a foot and a half long. Dealer has been great got my block heater installed just in time for the 8 degree (Fahrenheit) weather and they dropped the tractor off while I was at work and even backed it into its space in the barn for me !

The AC, when it kicks on, will engage the compressor. That will emit some clicks and the noises along with slightly bogging the engine. Since these diesels don't have an engine management ECU, there is no electronical "adjustment" for the increased load. It's not insignificant...like 4-5 horsepower to run the AC. Just letting you know you'll want to bump up the RPM a bit. Especially if it's hot out and you're running the mower...keep it at the high end. Another thing that will keep the AC from running is an engine that is too hot, so maintain your fluids!
