Tractor
massey ferguson to20
Afternoon all,

I purchased a tractor (TO20) and it came with a Davis 101A loader, ser#13721. It needs all new hoses, new controls and Im not sure the pump works. My question is, is it worth fixing?? or should I just sell it/ scrap it?? thanks in advance...matt

Hoses and valves are cheap from surpluscenter or similar.
Loaders are extremely handy, if you have a use for it, fix it, if not, sell it.
So it needs all new hoses, are they missing, or just perished?
How did you determine it needs new controls, missing?
Is it a separate pump or run from the tractor?
Pictures make it easier for folks to make informed comments.

KEEP THE LOADER!!! When you are looking for one it would be easier to find hens teeth.

Pick away at the hoses make sure the intake to the pump is clean. You can get premade hoses fairly cheap online. Surplus Center is popular and I’ve had good luck with Trausch Dynamics too.

I say they are bad because when I moved a few of the lines around a few cracked and one broke right in two. The controls are rusted solid ive tried soaking them in diesel and kerosene but to no avail. it has a separate front pump. its free I havent pulled the drain plug yet to see if there is any water in the system but the hoses were left out in the open so im guessing there i. I will look at the surplus center thanks guys!!!
